I have been so horrible at pulling out my camera. Thank goodness for my camera phone.
Sea World
We sure love going to Sea World. Hallie had an early release day so we had to take advantage. I love that it's still hot enough to be in the water. It was fun to hit some shows and do the park instead of the water park this time. They have a ton of Elmo stuff going on there so Kyler was in heaven.
Yes...it was so hot my phone stopped working.
Ky loved the Azul show with the beluga whales and dolphins. He was mesmerized and would dance along with the animals. It was so cute.
Waiting for the show to start. My 3 little buddies. It's exhausting to take them by myself, but always worth it when I see how much fun they have.
The girls are so into art and writing. I was sick of my kitchen table always being a mess so we made a little art area in their room. And created the hall closet into their "art/learning" closet. It feels so good to be so organized. And the girls are in heaven. They LOVE it. I love seeing them spend hours at their desks having fun together and creating their little masterpieces. Most mornings when I go to wake Hallie up for school, the light is already on. As soon as I open the door, they both say, "Ohh! Mom!!!" They are mad they have to stop and get ready. The only problem with this is Kyler. He thinks it's pretty fun to sneak in and get crayons to create a masterpiece on the wall, tables, floor, etc.
Aaron sent me this on my phone. I guess this explains how tired I am lately. Kyler found a nice seat. And apparently I got a little too comfortable and passed out.
Peyton drew this. Her explanation: "This is the hunter, and she's holding the shooter that when you push the big button, it shoots the fox right in the vitals (the orange part)." Oh dear...
Don't let this little innocent face fool you. Apparently he is the snack stealer in nursery (church). He waits at the table for the other kids to leave and then runs to swipe all their snacks off the table. He LOVES nursery. I hope that he continues to not be shy. My girls were always so shy. So far, he is a happy go easy child.
Peyton has a new friend with the same name (Peighton)!! They are so cute together and have a blast. Peyton is for sure not shy around her and I love seeing them interact. They sure enjoy getting together.
I sure love hanging out with this little boy while the girls are at school. He is my little sidekick. I'm training him to love target as much as I do.
Movie night/sleepover with the kids! When Aaron is gone, we try to make the best of it. I love spending quality time with my sweet kiddos. The girls said it was a "girls only" party and wanted Ky to watch a movie in the other room. But they decided they'd let him join in the fun too. And he was sure excited.
Aaron...if you are going to fall asleep during Sunday School, maybe you shouldn't choose to sit on the front row. Looks like his friend Clint thought it was a good idea too. Darn residents. Get some sleep!
Kyler knows how to win me over. He came over and started rubbing my feet for me. Little cutie.
.
I just love when I come home ready to eat dinner in the crockpot only to realize I plugged the wrong appliance in! Seriously? I'm an idiot. And the worst is admitting that this isn't the first time. Can I blame pregnancy?
School Update:
I know I posted awhile back about the girls struggling in school. But things, as I knew they would be, are going so much better.
Peyton loves preschool now. She is always excited to go and can't wait to see her friends. She loves the idea of making new friends and tells me what she says to make a new friend. She is still a little reserved when I drop her off but when I go to pick her up she is laughing, and having a good time. She has to make the rounds of goodbyes to everyone and is so cute. And whenever I go to drop her off there are cute little girls running up to her excited to see her and hugging her. I'm SO glad things are going better.
Hallie is doing alot better too. She is still my quiet little girl and only talks when she has to...BUT...she plays at recess now and has made some friends. She says she loves school and always has a cute little smile on her face when I drop her off and pick her up. I wish she was a little more challenged academically, but I guess that part is up to me. Kyler and I went and ate lunch with her and she thought it was pretty cool. I love my little Hallie.
"Mom, will you take a picture of me and Kyler snuggling on the couch? And then email it to my itouch! Cause he loves snuggling with me. " Later when we get in the car..."Ok, hurry mom! He's happy in the car! Take a picture! Quick!" Oh sweet Peyton.
I'm not sure who uses my phone more these days. Me or Kyler. What a rough life huh?
I love snuggling with my baby.
Running a taxi service with me is hard work! Poor guy. He never gets a good nap.
He refuses to sit in the water. Literally squats or stands the entire time.
Love early morning donut and drink runs with the fam.
The girls are really into finding secret hideouts around the house. I emptied out this cupboard and it has become their new favorite. They thought it would be fun to decorate it. So lovely.
Hallie is so into reading. I love it. This is her peace and quiet secret reading hideout. When I can't find her, I know where to look.
3 hours at the doctors office??? Kyler is expressing how we all felt! Seriously! I hate this clinic. The doctor takes forever and then thinks when he finally comes in that I want to hear all about his cat that just had surgery. Thanks and no thanks. Just tell me what you think is wrong with my son!
He was not too thrilled about getting his blood drawn. Poor guy.
Good thing we had Peyton there to keep us entertained.
I love being a mom to these cute cute kids. I feel so blessed. Kyler thinks it's pretty fun to see himself on my phone and take pics.
