{ PEYTON'S June Captured Sayings }

·         Famous Joke:
“Knock Knock.” (Who’s there?)
“Joe. “(Joe who?)
“Joe loves to eat you!”

·         Leaving the gym, Peyton said about her friend, “Her cried. I didn’t cry. I tough. And strong!”

·         We say quite often, “I’m going to squeeze your guts out.” One morning I was still sleeping in bed and the girls came in to wake me up. Peyton gets on top of me and says, “Hal, let’s squeeze her butts out!!! I did it. I squeezed her butts out!”

·         Says “ketchup” for “chapstick”. “Mom, I need some more ketchup on my lips.”

·         “I had a wittle booger on my finger but I fwipped it!”

·         Peyton thought she could get away with taking Hallie’s drink and not having her get mad if she sang the following, “sharing your milk is fun to do, fun do to, fun do to.sharing your milk is fun to do. To do. To do. To do.”

·         Comes running in to tell me all excited, “Mom! I tooted in the kitchen four times!! I really did!”

·         We went on a airpwane to Utah and we didn’t falled out any windows!!! We had our buckles on! That’s why we didn’t falled out any windows!

·         Conversation with Peyton after leaving the gym:
Me: “Did you play with Bailey?”
P: “Yea. But hers welled at me!”
Me: “She yelled at you? What did she say?”
P: “I said wook Baywee. My mom painted my nails and fingers. And then hers welled at me.”
Me: “What did she say?”
P: “Well…she didn’t say, (in a high pitched voice trying to imitate) “oh! I wike your sparky toes so badly.” So that means hers welled at me.”

·         “My puppy just got borned out. From heavenly fodder.” (playing puppies)

·         We take turns helping the girls teach Family Home Evening. I don’t know why but Peyton has been obsessed with wanting to teach one thing. And one thing only. “I want to teach about if you run into a car you fall down.” She gave a lesson on that tooJ.

·         Aaron pointed out the hospital he works out while we were driving. Peyton says, “Wow! That’s a big hosabill! You work at the very top? What colors are their beds?”

·         When singing the ABC’s…at the end she says…”Now I know my letters. Next time I’ll sing with you.”

·         “I fink Ky just wants to not eat milk all the time. Sometimes he just wikes to eat his hands. That’s his breakfast. So you don’t have to give him a drink. Ok?”

·         “Wanna see my muscles? I so strong. See! (puts her arms straight out in front of her and squeezes) Now I don’t have to drink milk ever again! Cause I already strong! “

·         We went to the play Pinkalicious downtown. At the end Peyton said, “ I wike the part when her sneeked out of her bed and grabbed a cupcake.”  “ I wanna start the day over. So it’s not night time. It’s SO early. So let’s go to the place again and watch pinkawicious.”  (Looks like she had a good day)

·         The girls and I had been laughing so hard. I said, “Ok, I can’t laugh anymore. It hurts my mouth.” Peyton says, “Just wash your mouth. Will that feel better?”

·         Whenever the girls are playing house together, they pretend to sleep and then I hear one of them say, “talka otta do.” (cockadoodle do). Then they both are up and ready to play. I love hearing them say this.

·         P: “Guess how I wipe snot. Wike this…” Then she wipes her shirt to her nose.
Me: “don’t do that! That is gross.”
P: Well Daddy says I can. He said!” (Thanks dad!)

{ HALLIE'S June Captured Sayings }

·         “I love you so much! And I’d love you even more if you…” Uses this phrase a lot. She was cleaning her room and came out to say,”Mom! I would love you more if you cleaned my room!” Nice try Hal.
·         Keeps praying for me to have another baby! Yikes!

·         Peyton threw her wrapper on the ground at the park. Hallie says to her, “We shouldn’t ever litter. Then it makes this earth ugly. Yea. That’s heavenly father’s rules! Don’t litter. He says!”
·         H: “Will you please help us clean up?”
Me: no. Did you need help making it a mess? Then you don’t need help cleaning it up.
H: “Well mom. Making a mess is one thing. And cleaning it up is another.”

·         Reviewing some numbers with Hallie. I showed her the number 22. She said, “tooty two”.

·         “These are juhankiss!” (gigantic) looking at some windmills at hobbylobby

·         “My baby is seven units long.” (measuring her baby with a measuring tape)

·         H: “Mom’s terrific.”
Aaron: “She is. What are some other things we can say about mom?”
H: “Some pig!”
We laughed forever. We had just finished reading Charlotte’s Web together a few months before.

·         Peyton: “NO. I don’t want to go to the gym.”
Hallie: “Peyton remember when mom used to just lay around. Well it’s because she didn’t have any energy. (I was pregnant and sick in my defense. Ha ha). So if you want mom to play with us more than you have to let her go to the gym to get more energy. Cause when she gets more energy she can play with us more.”

·         Whenever the girls are playing house together, they pretend to sleep and then I hear one of them say, “talka otta do.” (cockadoodle do). Then they both are up and ready to play. I love hearing them say this.

·         Aaron: “How did you get so brave?”
Hal: “I said a prayer. And I felt the Holy Ghost.” (after swimming lessons)

·         “When I turn eight, will you stop being my parents?”

{ June Randomness }

P.S. These pictures are all UNEDITED. That is hard for me! But...I'm letting go of it and just catching up. So that's how it'll have to be. And...I've been playing around with my camera alot. So you may gets some awesomeness of weird colors, blurry pics, etc. :).

Kyler is diggin the bumbo.

The girls getting in all the play time they can before Hallie starts full day Kindergarten. No mom's aloud.

 Peyton insists she doesn't need a nap. I beg to differ seeing that I find her alseep all the time.

{ Sugar Cookies }

One of my favorite things to do with the girls is make cookies! We all have so much fun and it brings back so many memories of when I was little and did the same thing with my mom and sisters. We had fun decorating the yummy sugar cookies.
I'm not sure whether Peyton got more sprinkles on her cookies or in her mouth. You be the judge.

Sugar high perhaps?

Hallie was super into decorating hers making sure to not miss a bit. And too cool for me to take her picture.

{ IS THIS WORSE THAN THE POOP STATION? }

If you can't remember my horrific experience at the poop gas station...you can read THIS (it's a good one).

Well...I think I may have found a close match as to something equally worse, if not worse.
I potty trained Peyton like a week before I had Kyler. Crazy? Probably. I did the "Potty train your kid in a day" approach with Hallie and it was awesome. Seriously, like maybe one accident. I was hoping I could have the same results with Peyton and have that out of the way before Kyler came to the world. I'd heard all the talk about how kids can regress if you do it close to a big change, but Aaron's convincing me to do it anyways finally got to me. Well Peyton...is just a little bit different child. She did great at the beginning. Honestly, a few more accidents than Hallie, but she learned pretty quick. Well then it turned horrific.

Peyton had been fighting naps for awhile now. She was supposedly taking a nap in her room. It was quiet, I figured I got lucky and she had gone to sleep. If she wasn't sleeping, I would've seen her beautiful smiling face about 10 times asking if rest time was over yet (or so I thought). So about an hour after I put her down, I went to peek on her. As soon as I opened the door I thought I was going to puke! POOP EVERYWHERE! Seriously! What is the deal with me and poop? She was sitting on the floor butt naked playing with her toys. I quickly scanned the room to figure out where that awful smell was coming from. Oh EVERYWHERE! She had pooped in her panties, taken them off, stepped in it, and had been walking around the room playing, reading books, etc. I wanted to die. Seriously, DIE!!!! I would go back to the poop station anytime compared to this. With the poop station, I was at least able to exit and not have to go there again or clean up the mess. This on the other hand, is my house! My belongs! My child! My responsibility to clean up! Oh my heavens. It was pretty bad. I seriously spend the rest of the day cleaning and sanitizing and cleaning and sanitizing. I can laugh about it now, but I was for sure not laughing that day. I bathed her, put her on the couch while I cleaned...within minutes she was pooped herself.

Well because of that incident and a few pee accidents simply because she "just didn't make it in time" (had no interest in trying), I told her that she had to wear a diaper for 3 days because she was showing me that she wasn't a big girl. And if she could get all her pees and poops in the toilet, than I'd give her her underwear back. Well...she loves to humor me. She loves to show who is the real boss. HER.
She decided to show me that she could still be a big girl even in a diaper. I found her eating her lunch without clothes and next to her booster chair. She was very persistent on letting me know that she was a big girl and did NOT need to sit in a booster or wear clothes. Little stinker.

{ MAY RANDOMNESS }

Peyton loves her bubble machine and being outside.

Hallie's preschool had eggs they watched over each day until they finally hatched! It was fun to see them all. They got a chance to hold them before they sent them off to the farm. So fun!

Kyler still loves sleeping. Always looks so sweet. I love this little boy.
It seems like this was the month of goodbyes to friends...
Annilee and Chelsea left
ASHLEY moved to Corpus Christi
I think this was actually April, but we had a little Olive Garden Girls Night out. Yum! Do you like how many Diet Cokes I have? I hope some of those were Jordan's :). ha ha.

The girls love being outside. I love when they get playing and are in their own little world. They've been loving to play school.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Well I guess it's about time I begin this blogging thing again. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. We have loved receiving Christmas cards and seeing/reading about all our loved ones. I get so excited when I open my mailbox! Thank you! Next year, I will be a little more on top of things and get some send out :). Here's to a new year! I am so grateful for all that I have. I feel so blessed in my life. Here's a little peek at what we've been up to:

Aaron: Still working hard. We have reached our half way point of residency! Whoo hoo! Only 2 1/2 more years to go. But who's counting? He is staying busy, loving the surgeries, and doing so great at making time to spend with us. In the spare time that he doesn't really have, he's been enjoying building things, play basketball, and spending time with the fam.

Heather (me): Staying busy taking care of the kids. Still trying to wrap my head around how to get everything done at the same time :) (hense why the blog and christmas cards have been put on hold :)). In the spare time that I do have, I enjoy working out, learning about photography, and who are we kidding? shopping of course :).

Hallie (5): Started full day Kindergarten this year! I was super nervous for this, but it is going great! She loves it. Loves her teacher, and loves learning. She's been playing soccer and dancing this year and is loving art, reading, and playing. She still begs for a puppy everyday, while I try to convince her everyday that her bazillion stuffed and mechanical puppies are way better. No poop, hair, smells,etc. :). I'm beginning to feel like a horrible mom and am wondering how much longer it's going to take until I buckle.

Peyton (3): Still lots of fun with lots of sass. Peyton started a little preschool with some friends and I switch off teaching every week. She loves learning and catches on pretty quick. She's been taking dance as well and can't wait to begin soccer this spring. Loves art and playing with Kyler. She keeps us laughing with everything that comes out of her mouth. She has had a few health concerns this year and was finally diagnosed with Ketotic Hypoglycemic Disease. We are grateful that it's not serious and that it is something she will grow out of. Meanwhile, I stay busy trying to determine whether her meltdowns are due to a typical sassy 3 yo behavior or because she's hypoglycemic. We are figuring it out though.

Kyler (11 months): Can't believe he'll be one on Feb 9th! We have been so blessed to have this sweet little angel in our lives this year. He is perfect. Such a great baby and very easygoing. Of course he would be being the third child though right? (Aaron and I are both the 3rd child). He is cruising furniture, still army crawling all over the place, waving nonstop and LOVES his big sisters. He is all boy! Loves anything that looks like a ball and pounding on everything. We love our Ky! He is the reason for alot of my smiles each day.

We are so grateful for all of you who show your love and support. We are blessed and are thankful for our savior who helps us through the good and the bad. Here's to a better year of blogging!
