{ PEYTON'S CAPTURED SAYINGS }

February 2011

(2 1/2 Years)

So proud of herself for getting this awesome attire on

"I a worker!" (found this scene alot this month. No pants, hat on, drilling everything in our house.)

• “You happy with me mommy?” (Says this anytime she’s doing something naughty and can tell I’m not too thrilled.)

• I potty trained Peyton right before Kyler was born. We were at the store and I hear Peyton say, “Oh cwap! My panties are all wet! Oh cwap!”

• “yous best mommy eber!”

“My daddy is the best daddy eber!”

• “Will you fix this for me? It bwake (brake)! Totawee (totally) bwake! Totawee mom. Totawee!”

• Talking to Kyler, “Yous so cute baby. You perfect!”

• “Perfect! Just perfect.” (says this about everything)

• “I doin a gweat job.”

• “You so sweet.” (In a little motherly voice to Kyler)

• “Gwandma, you a booger poop!” She loved getting a rise out of my mom and would say this ALL the time. She thought she was so funny.

• If I ask Peyton to do something more than once she says all annoyed while rolling her eyes, “OKAYYYY!!! I AMMMM!!!”

• “Go check on Hallie.” (She says this if she wants me to leave the room so she can do something I won’t like (eating candy, throw her food in the garbage, put makeup on, etc.)

• Peyton was all dressed in her pjs and was supposedly “in bed sleeping” (it was late). My mom walks in the room and she was anything but sleeping. She was standing in the middle of the room with nothing but panties, high heeled princess shoes and a crown on. She looks at grandma, twirls her hair and says, “I’m a princess!”

• Calls washcloths “livytaps”. “This is my livytap!”

• Calls toothpaste “toothstick”

And...POTTY TRAINED!!! No more diapers! YAY!

{ HALLIE'S CAPTURED SAYINGS }

February 2011

• “I have a good rememory! My rememory is always thinkin!”

• “Peyton! There’s a difference about pee pee and poo poos. Pee Pee is just slimy and poopie is not.”

• “That guy looks like a monkey!” (talking about Steven Tyler on American Idol)

• “Peyton! You’re irritating me!” (learned this word from Martha Speaks.)

• “This is the most beautiest picture of all!”

• “Mom, when Kyler gets bigger and turns into an adult can I marry him? Will he get married?" I tried to explain that you don’t marry someone in your family.. and "when you get older, you will find someone that you love very much and you can marry him.
“But…I really really really love daddy!”

• “Peyton’s a superhero. So if you need anything just call Peyton!”

{ WEEK 6 }

{ SILLY PEYTON }

This girl has us laughing everyday. She cracks me up and is full of fun!

She LOVES Kyler. Always wants to be so helpful. Sometimes a little too helpful. But it's so cute to hear her talk to him. Anytime I try to take a picture of Kyler, she jumps right down next to him and smiles. It's quite comical.

And she is determined to get him to like her pink blanet. So nice to share. She doesn't just share that blanket with anyone you know.

And so happy to have a baby she can put her doll clothes on. This is how I found Kyler. She was determined to get those pink shoes on him. And the hat.

She is also the most indecisive child you've ever met! Even when getting a diaper for Kyler. She lines them all up by Kyler, and decides that whichever one he touches is the one we'll use (they have different characters on them). And if it's just taking too long for Kyler to touch one, she'll grab his hand and force him to touch one. But changes her mind 20 times before deciding. ha ha.

This is the best. It was only a matter of time before she started feeding her own babies right?! Oh man! Good thing it's a phase.

 They are going to be good buds. (At least until Kyler is big enough to tell her no to the pink blankets and dress up clothes.)

{ LINDSEY Visit }

A couple weeks ago, I had such a great day! Why you ask? Well for 2 reasons. One of my bestest friends from UT was in Austin and I got to see her! And two, because I met her at the outlets and went shopping kidless (well minus 2 kids, but close to kidless). It was so much fun! I love Lindsey! We've been friends since 7th grade and I can't imagine life without her. She has been there through thick and thin and knows and likes me for all the good and the bad. We are so completely different, it's quite funny.But we never run out of things to say and can always pick up right where we left off before. She's the best!

We met for lunch and then hit the shops for a bit. Lindsey has NEVER liked to shop. I have visions in my head of us shopping when we were younger. I would be on a shopping high having the time of my life, and she would be 5 inches behind me just following me around like a puppy dog complimenting my purchases. ha ha. Her mom would give her money and beg her to go buy new clothes. I could never understand why the heck that bugged her! I would be in heaven! ha ha.

Needless to say...I was shocked when we went shopping this time! I must have finally rubbed off on her. This is what she looked like before hitting the dressing room. It is a historic moment. I had to document.

Way to go Linds! I am SO proud of you! You made my day!

It was so great to see her! And so nice of her to make time to see me. Thanks Linds! You're the best!

{ St. Patty's Day }

We had a fun St. Patrick's Day! We are Irish afterall, so we must celebrate! I LOVE getting my girls excited about Holidays. It was SO much fun making their imaginations go wild as I told them all about leprechauns. I loved the questions they were asking me. It almost made me wish I was a kid again and still believed in all of this stuff. How fun!

Well...the night before, we made our leprechaun trap in hopes to catch him. Hallie made him a picture that was "golden" so he'd get tricked. Peyton's is next to it. They were so excited to do all this. We had so much fun. The box was colored, the items to "trick" him with were great (green leaves, sour patch kids, clovers, pennys, ribbon, a ball and sparkles), and they were ready. Hallie wanted to get right to bed so the leprechaun would come. Peyton thought it'd be fun to come out of her bed 50 times and ask if I'd seen him yet.

We woke up and ran to the playhouse in hopes that we caught him. But...we didn't! Dango! He left a note instead.

So...we followed his footsteps and clovers to find his special surprise. They were excited!

A little disappointed that we didn't catch him, but totally over it when they found he left them a treat! Hallie is determined to catch him next year!

We headed over to the park and McDonalds and the kids played SO hard. They had a blast!

Aaron and Kyler weren't as excited as we were about this AWESOME holiday! (Had a LONG day/night of working). HAPPY IRISH DAY!!!

{ WEEK 5 }

Chunked out the cheeks
Smiling more

Loves being on his tummy (and already flippin the bird :))

Loves to cuddle on me. I will miss the day he doesn't curl up in a little ball on me. I could seriously sit and stare at him all day. Too bad I can't huh?! ha ha. I love being a mom. I'm so blessed!

{ WILD THING }

The girls had their little dance performance a couple weeks ago. They were so cute. Here's some videos of them. They are always a little more shy when people are watching but they still did a good job. I got to watch some of their practices and it cracked me up. Peyton and Hallie are totally opposite when they dance. Hallie is the little ballerina. So serious, so perfect and making sure everything is just right. Peyton is the sassy crazy girl. Smiles and laughs non stop, shakes it and doesn't notice at all if she's done anything wrong. They were so excited to show dad their dancing. I love my girls and seeing them have so much fun together!

Watch Peyton's mouth on this next one. It's hilarious. Not sure what she's doing. I think she remembers that she should smile but then decides not to.

{ AWESOME AARON }

Me: " Hi Hallie, what you doing?"
Hallie: "I'm just comin in to get dad a pop. We're playing puppies in his truck."
Me: "Where's Dad?"

Hallie: "Oh, he's just out vacuuming the grass. Bye!"
Me: "huh? the grass???!!!"

I thought she was kidding. Until I looked out the window and saw this...

Yep! That's my awesome husband! Vacuuming our grass. He's one of a kind! I'm beginning to wonder if he's been putting in too many hours at the hospital :). I had to give a little look around the neighborhood to see if any of our neighbors were watching. ha ha. (On his defense...he says he's vacuuming the acorns that fall from our tree. He feels that it prohibits the grass from being able to grow :)). I'll admit, I can see his logic, but I still think it's hilarious! I do know one thing. We are going to have the best lookin lawn in town!

Well, at least he's cute while he does it and has some cute little helpers to keep him company. They love to be outside with him while he works in the yard. Playing puppies in his truck is one of their favorites.

On another note, I really am so thankful for such a great husband. I'm so blessed. He works so hard, is so great with our kids and helps me out so much. He's the best!
