LOTS more in no particular order.
On the 24th of July John and his brothers put on quite the firework show. For reals. It was like Sea World, Stadium of Fire fireworks. It was awesome. The kids had a blast.
Kyler was pretty funny. Not sure what to think of them. This video cracks me up.
My little baby turned 18 months while we were in UT. He is getting way to big! I need him to stop growing so fast. I love this little boy so much.
I am so grateful for these ladies in my life. I am so lucky to have my sweet sisters and mom. They are my best friends.
Had to get a little shopping in of course.
Avery is so sweet and waited to have her bday party until my girls came to UT. She is the cutest. They had a blast at the Tangled party. Natalie made them these cute tangled hair for their bday and the girls love them. Still a big hit at our house. And of course, Nat put on a great party. How she does everything she does...is still a mystery to me.
Ky had a blast with all of the balloons. He thought it was quite entertaining to bounce his head with them. P.S. This is my dream couch someday...
So glad I got to see so many of my cousins. I love these girls. We always have a blast together. Tammi is living in Slovakia right now, Stephanie in Idaho, and our trips happened to overlap for us to see each other one night.Me, Tammi, and Nat are all due with babies within just a couple months of each other. So fun.
I cannot get enough of this cute little Jack. He is so stinkin cute and I loved being able to see him on a daily basis.
What would a UT trip be without my kids getting sick?! EVERYTIME! For reals! Poor Peyton. Got the flu. But we lucked out this time and didn't contaminate everyone with it. She was quarantined to the basement during the parties with lots of movies. But the cousins just couldn't stay away from each other. We caught them together a few times. So glad they didn't get it.
Aaron and I were able to see Deanna and kids at the park for a little bit.
Peyton had one obsession in UT. Well two actually. Grandma's ipad and MACY! She wanted to do everything with her. Macy may have gotten a little annoyed at times, but it didn't seem to stop Peyton. ha ha. They were so cute together. Always holding hands wherever they went.
Went to see the Lorax.
Had a daddy daughter date up at the cabin. Doesn't surprise me Peyton found a gun.
I loved the mornings here. For many reasons. First being my sweet mom and sister let me sleep in every morning and took care of the girls. That is the nicest gift a pregnant mom could ever ask for. Kyler slept so well in UT. It was great. I love UT mornings outside. We would sit outside and eat breakfast everyday and were lucky enough to have a musical band serenade us too.
Peyton being Peyton. Had to take a little rest while shopping.
Twinners. They would plan to match in these dresses quite often.
Got to see Jordan and meet his new dog Roscoe. I love my brothers.
Aunt Dicksy moved and has a pool at her new place. She was sweet to invite us all over to swim and watch the opening ceremony of the Olympics. I love my crazy kids. Even if they convince me to swim with them while all the other adults are dressed and watching the ceremony.
She always sleeps so funny.
Dustin was amazing as usual. Nothing new for him. Anything the kids ask him to do, he does it. He is so patient with them and seriously the cutest with them. I love him for this. They would constantly ask me daily when he was going to be home from work. They thought it was fun to go visit him at work a few times too. Kyler would constantly be at his bedroom door knocking on it.
The kids thought it was fun to take a little ride around the driveway.
The kids would beg Dustin to go up in his room. This is how I found them a few times.
There is something about Dustin and his food. I remember always seeing Dustin eating something and then suddenly it looked so good and I wanted some. Well Kyler felt the same way (sorry Dust). He would crawl up on his lap and eat away all his food. When Dustin was around, I was non existent to Kyler.
I found Dust and Ky on a walk to this puddle. He had a blast splashing away. When Ky saw me, he looked at me like, "Don't ruin my fun. Go away, I'm hangin with Dustin."
It's always fun to see Aaron's mom and Bill. They are always so sweet to the kids and have a good time.
Making cookies with Grandma. My mom was so nice to always do whatever they kids wanted.
Love Bajio and Cafe Rio! I may have eaten there quite ALOT. Yum! Wish I had some right now.
Kyler will wear a hat, but he decided he thought it'd be fun to eat his entire lunch with this on his head. Funny kid.
Love UT sunsets.
My drink run buddy Lindsey! I miss this girl! We've been best friends since 7th grade! That's a long time. She understands and appreciates the value of a drink run. Where we continually just drive around and around with our drinks and have chats. She's the best.
A family dinner at Noodles. Not very often ALL of us siblings are all together. And this was a monumental moment because Kyler ate noodles! He will NEVER eat them and he chowed down like crazy. I was a happy mom.
Kyler was into the "I want to feed myself" stage. Super fun. Always a blast to clean up.
It was Grandpas bday while we were there. We took balloons up to the grave and let them go. Poor Chels got to ride with them all up front.
Poor Kyler was always tired. We were on the go alot which meant lots of interrupted naps.
Grandpa volunteered to babysit while the girls had a cousins night out for my cousin Erica who just got married (didn't take any pics). He was so cute with them. Peyton was mad I was taking a picture.
Yum! Let's rub all of our popsicle germs together. I'm sure they will taste way better.
Loves the blue swing at Grandma Gayla's
I got to see all my cute high school friends for an evening. I just love these girls. Can't believe it's been 11 years since high school. I'm old! But I love that we still get together and still know how to chat till late in the evenings. So fun.
Kyler giving Peyton a hug. Peyton looks a little shocked. It was pretty cute.
This is how a sick pregnant person babysits. Handover an ipad. Works wonders. jk
Kyler was in heaven playing basketball. He LOVES balls so much. He even yells ball in his sleep.
We went to support Natalie and her fam in the Lindon parade.
Oh my heck! Is that John from Kid History? I can't believe we're related and he still hasn't given me an autograph or tshirt! How cool do I have to be? jk.
We got back to our car to see and smell this delightful surprise. The horse crap. Seriously? Right next to our car? There was a ton of other empty parking stalls. So kind of them to park right next to us. ha ha.
We visited the ducks at Nelsons Grove an few times.
Always a blast with the cousins. They are all almost exactly a year apart. It's so fun when they get together.
After a Bajio trip the kids decided to get a little wet in the splash pad. Lots of fun.
Kyler thinks he's pretty sneaky stealing my drink in the back. Avery is always so sweet to Peyton.
Kyler loves being outside. If a door was ever open, he would book it as quick as he could. Or else would constantly be by the door saying, "Out? Out?".
He decided this bike looked a little more fun.
Lindon City had a fun evening. They put a ton of fish in this little river and let the kids go at it. They thought it was a blast.
Thought the snowcones were pretty great too.
Peyton's face kills me. Do you think she was a little scared? Hallie was sweet and tried to help her out.
Must have been a pretty intense Elmo. What do you think?
This is what happens when I think Kyler is watching a show and I try to get ready for church. He managed to get this box of donuts off the table and enjoy a little snack. Little stinker.
Saying goodbye...I always cry. I'm such a baby. So excited that Natalie is pregnant too. We are a month apart.
I hate the final goodbyes.
We made it off the plane pretty late and the kids were still beaming with excitement to see their dad. It was a long time away from him. We missed him tons.
It was midnight but that didn't stop Peyton from wanting to help with the luggage. This bag was 50 pounds and she insisted on pulling it all by herself. She thinks she can do anything.
